So, you want to know more about me? Okay.
Well, you already know my name. I was born in a small farm town in eastern North Carolina. The kind of town where you are surrounded by crops of corn and tobacco. When I was nine years old, my family left the quiet country life to move to south Florida. Palm Beach County to be exact. A far cry from the life I had grown accustom to. I struggled to fit in with the fast pace environment and the kids around me who laughed at my accent, but eventually I came to know it as 'home'. In eleventh grade, I was introduced to my husband by a cousin and we began dating. After high school, we tied the knot and went on to have three children. After seven and a half years of marriage, we moved from the life we knew in Palm Beach County to the quiet country life in my small hometown in North Carolina, where we currently reside - once again surrounded by sprouting crops, cows and pigs.
My favorite stories are the ones that make me laugh and feel good. I try to work humor into my own stories, if possible. I hate horror stories and movies. I don't know why, I just don't like them no matter how much I try.
I also have two fur babies. One 8 year old Boston Terrier and one English Bulldogge. Yes, I have a thing for smooshy faced doggies.
